Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to and use of the NextStepAI website, the optional on-site AI assistant, and all inquiry and contact channels. For active client engagements, the controlling legal terms are set out in the applicable proposal, statement of work, or signed commercial agreement — which take precedence over anything on this page.

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Applies to: website, AI assistant, contact channels, and related business communications

Important Notices

These terms do not create a client relationship, engagement obligation, or delivery commitment by themselves. Using this website or submitting an inquiry does not constitute a binding agreement for services.

The AI assistant is an informational tool only. Responses are not legal, financial, technical, or operational advice. NextStepAI accepts no liability for decisions made based solely on AI assistant outputs.

Unauthorized, abusive, or disruptive use of this website or AI assistant may result in immediate termination of access without notice.

Part A — Website and General Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website in any way — including browsing pages, submitting forms, or interacting with the AI assistant — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you must stop using this website and its interactive features immediately. NextStepAI reserves the right to modify these terms at any time; continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be identified by an updated effective date.

2. Website Purpose and Scope

The NextStepAI website is intended to describe the services offered by NextStepAI, collect inbound requests from potential and existing clients, and provide general informational guidance through written content and the optional AI assistant. Separate from those website functions, NextStepAI may also conduct business-to-business communications through external communication channels where permitted by applicable law.

Nothing on this website constitutes:

  • —A binding offer to provide services
  • —A guarantee of availability, capacity, or eligibility for any specific service
  • —Legal, financial, technical, regulatory, or operational advice tailored to your specific circumstances
  • —Cybersecurity architecture, operational security systems, AI security controls, and resilience-oriented infrastructure guidance
  • —A representation that services will be provided on any particular timeline or at any particular price

A client relationship is established only through a signed proposal, statement of work, or other formal written agreement between NextStepAI and the client. Verbal commitments, informal messages, or form submissions do not create binding obligations on either party.

3. No Professional or Technical Reliance

All content published on this website — including articles, case studies, process descriptions, and AI assistant responses — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional, legal, financial, cybersecurity, technical, operational, or regulatory advice applicable to your specific situation, organization, or jurisdiction.

Before making any significant operational, technical, or commercial decision based on information encountered on this website, you should seek independent professional advice from a qualified advisor with knowledge of your specific circumstances. NextStepAI accepts no responsibility for decisions made in reliance on website content without independent verification and appropriate professional consultation.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You may use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the site. The following conduct is expressly prohibited:

Security Interference Attempting to probe, scan, test, or exploit vulnerabilities in the website, its infrastructure, or connected systems. Attempting to bypass or circumvent rate limiting, authentication, anti-abuse controls, content security policies, or any other security measure.
Malicious or Unlawful Content Submitting content through any form or the AI assistant that is fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful under applicable law.
Reverse Engineering and Extraction Attempting to extract, reverse engineer, reproduce, or reconstruct proprietary information about NextStepAI systems, AI configurations, internal workflows, pricing structures, or delivery methodologies through the AI assistant or any other website feature.
Impersonation and False Information Impersonating any person, company, or entity, or submitting knowingly false or misleading information in any contact form, request, or AI assistant interaction.
Automated or Bulk Access Using bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated scripts to access, index, copy, or extract content from the website beyond what a standard search engine crawler would retrieve, without prior written authorization.
Service Disruption Taking any action intended to overload, disrupt, damage, or impair the performance or availability of the website or its underlying infrastructure, including distributed denial-of-service activity.
Credential and Sensitive Data Submission Submitting passwords, authentication tokens, payment card details, national identification numbers, regulated health data, classified information, or any other category of highly sensitive data through the contact form or AI assistant channel.

NextStepAI reserves the right to investigate suspected violations, block access without notice, report conduct to relevant authorities, and pursue civil or criminal remedies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Part B — AI Assistant Terms

5. AI Assistant — Use, Limitations, and Disclaimers

5.1 Nature of the Feature

The on-site AI assistant is an optional convenience feature designed to answer general questions about NextStepAI services, operational systems, and business automation concepts. It is powered by an AI model and may be updated, modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice. Availability is not guaranteed.

The AI assistant is separate from NextStepAI personnel-led business communications. It does not independently select outreach recipients, initiate outbound collaboration emails, or send external business communications on NextStepAI's behalf unless a separate feature and explicit process is clearly identified by NextStepAI in the future.

5.2 Accuracy and Completeness

AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies, incomplete information, outdated references, or content that is not applicable to your specific situation. Large language models can produce plausible-sounding but incorrect outputs. NextStepAI does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for purpose of any AI assistant response. You should independently verify any information before relying on it for business, technical, legal, or financial decisions.

5.3 No Professional Advice

The AI assistant does not provide legal advice, financial advice, tax advice, medical advice, cybersecurity assessments, penetration testing results, vulnerability validation, regulatory certification guidance, or engagement-specific technical recommendations. Responses are informational in nature only. Nothing the AI assistant generates should be treated as a substitute for qualified professional advice relevant to your circumstances.

5.4 No Guaranteed Outcomes

The AI assistant does not commit NextStepAI to any deliverable, timeline, approach, engagement scope, or commercial outcome. Responses generated by the assistant do not constitute proposals, quotes, representations, or binding commitments of any kind on the part of NextStepAI.

5.5 Prompt Misuse Restrictions

You must not attempt to manipulate the AI assistant through prompt injection, jailbreaking techniques, adversarial instructions, or other methods designed to bypass its operational guidelines, extract confidential system configuration, generate harmful content, or impersonate NextStepAI personnel or systems. Such attempts constitute a violation of these terms and may result in immediate access restriction and reporting to relevant authorities where appropriate.

5.6 Conversation Logging

Interactions with the AI assistant may be logged for security monitoring, abuse detection, quality assurance, and feature improvement purposes, as described in the Privacy Policy. Any processing associated with the AI assistant is carried out on the legal basis or bases described in the Privacy Policy and as required by applicable law. Use of the assistant does not by itself constitute consent to processing where another lawful basis applies or where consent is not legally required. Do not share information in the AI assistant that you would not be comfortable having reviewed for security and quality purposes under the conditions described in the Privacy Policy.

5.7 Liability Limitation for AI Outputs

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NextStepAI is not liable for any loss, damage, cost, liability, or claim arising from reliance on, or use of, AI assistant outputs. This includes direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, and punitive losses, regardless of whether NextStepAI was advised of the possibility of such losses.

Part C — Intellectual Property and Ownership

6. Website Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, copy, code, graphics, icons, visual assets, user interface elements, interaction design, data structures, and software comprising this website are the exclusive intellectual property of NextStepAI or its licensors and are protected under applicable copyright, trademark, design right, and other intellectual property laws.

The name NextStepAI, the Systems Intelligence tagline, and all associated logos, marks, and visual identifiers are proprietary to NextStepAI. Unauthorized use — including reproduction, imitation, or confusingly similar use in any commercial or public-facing context — is strictly prohibited.

You may not, without prior written permission from NextStepAI:

  • —Reproduce, distribute, republish, transmit, or create derivative works from any website content
  • —Use any NextStepAI trademark, logo, or brand identifier in any form of advertising, publication, or public communication
  • —Frame or embed this website or any portion of it within another website or application
  • —Commercially exploit any content extracted from this website

Limited permission is granted to access and display this website for the sole purpose of evaluating or inquiring about NextStepAI services, subject to these terms. This permission does not include the right to cache, scrape, or systematically download content beyond incidental browser caching.

7. Deliverable Ownership and IP Transfer

The intellectual property terms applicable to specific client deliverables — including custom software, automation systems, operational platforms, AI workflows, process documentation, and other project outputs — are governed exclusively by the signed commercial agreement for the relevant engagement. The following general principles apply in the absence of express written agreement to the contrary:

Client-Specific Deliverables Upon receipt of full payment for a completed engagement, rights to client-specific deliverables are transferred to the client as set out in the governing agreement. Ownership transfer is conditional on full payment. No transfer of rights occurs for partially paid or disputed engagements.
NextStepAI Underlying Frameworks and Tools NextStepAI retains full ownership of its internal frameworks, reusable components, development tooling, methodologies, AI system architectures, prompt engineering approaches, and operational design patterns that form part of the delivery infrastructure. These assets may be used in multiple client engagements and are licensed — not transferred — to clients for use within the scope of the delivered system, unless an explicit written transfer is separately agreed and reflected in the commercial agreement.
Portfolio and Reference Rights Unless expressly prohibited in writing within the engagement agreement, NextStepAI reserves the right to reference the engagement type, general scope, and category of outcome achieved (without identifying the client or disclosing confidential business information) in its portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials.
Third-Party Components Deliverables may incorporate third-party open-source software, licensed libraries, or SaaS platform capabilities. Such components remain subject to their respective licenses and are not subject to ownership transfer by NextStepAI. The client is responsible for compliance with third-party license terms in their use of the delivered system.
Confidentiality of AI Systems and Prompts Any AI system configuration, prompt architecture, workflow logic, or operational design delivered as part of an engagement is confidential. Clients must not reproduce, reverse engineer, resell, or disclose such configurations to third parties without prior written consent from NextStepAI.
Part D — Service Delivery Framework

8. Service Delivery Terms

The following general terms apply to all NextStepAI service engagements — including workflow automation, custom platform development, AI system implementation, cybersecurity and operational security services, AI security systems, operational systems consulting, monthly retainers, and ongoing support arrangements — unless otherwise stated in the governing commercial agreement.

8.1 Scope of Work

NextStepAI delivers services within the scope defined in the signed proposal or statement of work. Work outside the agreed scope — including additional features, integrations, workflows, or requirements not documented at the time of engagement — constitutes scope change and requires a separate written agreement, including any adjustment to timeline and pricing. Verbal requests for additional scope do not create delivery obligations.

8.2 Timelines and Scheduling

Delivery timelines stated in proposals are estimates based on information available at the time of scoping. Final timelines are confirmed in the signed engagement document. Delays caused by the client — including late feedback, delayed access provision, delayed approval of deliverables, or unresponsiveness during critical delivery phases — may extend the project timeline proportionally without constituting a breach on the part of NextStepAI. In such cases, NextStepAI will communicate the impact and revised timeline in writing.

8.3 Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for: providing timely, complete, and accurate information required for project delivery; granting appropriate access to systems, environments, and documentation; designating a point of contact with authority to make operational decisions; reviewing and approving deliverables within agreed timelines; and ensuring that credentials, API keys, third-party accounts, and infrastructure access provided to NextStepAI are legitimate and properly authorized. NextStepAI is not liable for delivery failures or security incidents caused by inaccurate or improperly authorized access provisioned by the client.

8.4 Revisions and Change Requests

Each engagement includes a defined revision allowance as specified in the proposal. Revisions within scope — corrections to agreed deliverables that do not expand the original requirements — are included. Change requests that materially alter the design, logic, integrations, or volume of work are treated as new scope items and quoted separately. NextStepAI reserves the right to decline change requests that would compromise system integrity, delivery quality, or the timeline of other commitments.

8.5 Third-Party Platforms and API Dependencies

Many systems delivered by NextStepAI integrate with or depend on third-party platforms, APIs, services, or infrastructure (including but not limited to automation platforms, database services, AI providers, cloud infrastructure, SaaS tools, and payment systems). NextStepAI is not responsible for disruption, degradation, pricing changes, deprecation, or discontinuation of third-party services. Changes to third-party platforms may require additional development work to maintain compatibility, which falls outside the original engagement scope. Clients are advised to maintain awareness of third-party dependency risks and to plan for maintenance and adaptation costs over time.

8.6 Post-Delivery Liability

Upon final delivery, written client approval of deliverables, and receipt of full payment, operational responsibility for the delivered system transitions to the client. NextStepAI is not liable for system failures, security incidents, data loss, or operational disruptions arising after formal handoff, except where caused by a demonstrable defect in the originally delivered system that falls within any expressly agreed warranty period. The client is responsible for maintaining appropriate backups, monitoring, security controls, and update procedures from the date of handoff. NextStepAI's post-delivery liability is limited to the terms of any separately agreed support, maintenance, or retainer arrangement.

8.7 Project Pauses and Abandonment

If the client is unresponsive or fails to provide required materials for a period of 30 consecutive calendar days, NextStepAI may treat the project as paused. Projects paused for 60 or more days without communication or resolution may be treated as abandoned. Abandoned projects may be formally closed, with any remaining unpaid milestones becoming due. Re-engagement after abandonment may require a new scoping process and revised pricing. Work completed to the point of abandonment is billable as delivered.

9. Payment, Invoicing, and Financial Terms

Payment schedule: Payment terms are defined in the governing commercial agreement. Where not otherwise specified, invoices are due within 14 calendar days of the invoice date. Milestone-based projects require payment at each milestone before subsequent phases begin.

Late payment: Overdue payments may accrue interest at the statutory rate applicable in the governing jurisdiction, or at the rate specified in the commercial agreement. NextStepAI reserves the right to suspend active work on any engagement where invoices remain unpaid beyond the agreed payment terms, without this suspension constituting a breach of contract by NextStepAI.

Taxes and duties: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, fees quoted by NextStepAI are exclusive of VAT, GST, sales tax, withholding tax, and any other applicable taxes or levies. The client is responsible for any such taxes applicable to the transaction under the laws of the client's jurisdiction.

Disputed invoices: Invoice disputes must be raised in writing within 7 calendar days of receipt of the invoice, with a clear description of the specific items in dispute and the basis for the dispute. Undisputed portions of invoices remain payable on the original due date.

Refunds: Fees paid for completed and approved work are non-refundable. Refund eligibility for partially completed phases, cancelled projects, or disputed deliverables is governed by the terms of the applicable commercial agreement. Where no specific refund terms are agreed, NextStepAI will exercise reasonable judgment with reference to the value of work delivered and any client losses caused by NextStepAI.

Retainer and subscription services: Monthly retainer or subscription-based arrangements continue until cancelled in writing by either party in accordance with the notice period specified in the commercial agreement. Fees for the current billing period are non-refundable upon cancellation. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, not mid-period.

10. Cancellation and Termination

Either party may terminate an active engagement by providing written notice as specified in the governing commercial agreement. In the absence of specific termination terms:

  • —The client may cancel at any time by providing written notice. Work completed to the cancellation date is billable. Any non-recoverable costs already incurred (including third-party fees or licensed tools procured for the engagement) are payable by the client.
  • —NextStepAI may terminate an engagement for cause — including repeated payment failures, client conduct that prevents delivery, breach of confidentiality obligations, or misuse of delivered systems — with written notice specifying the cause. Work completed to the termination date remains billable.
  • —Upon termination for any reason, each party will promptly return or securely destroy confidential information belonging to the other party, and NextStepAI will provide a summary of work delivered to the termination date.
Part E — Liability, Indemnification, and Protection

11. Warranties and Disclaimers

NextStepAI provides the following warranties in respect of website use. Additional warranty terms applicable to delivered systems are set out in the governing commercial agreement:

Website "As Is" Disclaimer: This website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NextStepAI makes no warranty — express or implied — regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, security, or fitness for a particular purpose of any website content, including AI assistant outputs. NextStepAI does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or malicious code.

NextStepAI warrants that it will perform client engagement services with reasonable professional skill and care, consistent with the standards of the industry, and in accordance with the agreed scope and timeline. This warranty does not cover defects caused by misuse, unauthorized modification, integration failures attributable to third-party systems outside NextStepAI's control, or changes to third-party platform functionality after delivery.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NextStepAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages — including loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of business opportunity, operational disruption, or reputational harm — arising from or in connection with:

  • —Use of, or inability to use, this website or its features, including the AI assistant
  • —Reliance on website content or AI assistant outputs for business or technical decisions
  • —Third-party platform failures, API changes, or infrastructure outages outside NextStepAI's direct control
  • —Unauthorized access to or alteration of data or systems, including through cybersecurity incidents not attributable to NextStepAI negligence
  • —Cybersecurity incidents, threat actor activity, infrastructure compromise, or malicious actions originating from third-party systems, vendors, or client-managed environments outside NextStepAI operational control
  • —Data loss, corruption, or exposure arising from client failure to maintain appropriate backups or security controls after delivery
  • —Regulatory, legal, or compliance consequences arising from client use of delivered systems in a manner inconsistent with applicable law or outside the agreed operating parameters

Where NextStepAI's liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the total fees paid by the client to NextStepAI in the three-month period immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or such other maximum as is expressly stated in the governing commercial agreement. This limitation applies in aggregate across all claims arising from a single engagement or course of dealing.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NextStepAI, its personnel, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claim, demand, liability, cost, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:

  • —Your breach of these Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy
  • —Your misuse of this website, the AI assistant, or any delivered system
  • —Content or data you submit through the website that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law
  • —Your failure to comply with applicable laws in connection with your use of NextStepAI systems or services
  • —Claims by third parties arising from client's deployment or use of delivered systems beyond the scope or parameters agreed with NextStepAI

14. Force Majeure

NextStepAI shall not be in breach of any obligation under these terms or any commercial agreement, nor shall it be liable for any delay or failure in performance, to the extent that such delay or failure arises from events beyond its reasonable control. Such events include, without limitation: acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic or epidemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental action or regulation, infrastructure or internet failure, power outages, cyberattacks on third-party infrastructure, strikes or labor disputes, or any other event that could not reasonably have been anticipated and is not within the reasonable control of NextStepAI.

Where a force majeure event occurs, NextStepAI will notify the client as soon as reasonably practicable, use reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact, and resume performance as soon as the event permits. If a force majeure event continues for more than 60 calendar days, either party may terminate the affected engagement by written notice without further liability, subject only to payment for work completed to the termination date.

15. Confidentiality

Each party acknowledges that in connection with any engagement, it may receive confidential information belonging to the other party, including but not limited to: business strategies, client data, system architectures, pricing, operational methodologies, technical specifications, and financial information.

Each party agrees to: hold the other party's confidential information in strict confidence; use it only for the purpose for which it was disclosed; not disclose it to any third party without prior written consent; and protect it with the same level of care applied to its own confidential information, but no less than reasonable care.

These obligations do not apply to information that: is or becomes publicly available through no fault of the receiving party; was already known to the receiving party at the time of disclosure; is independently developed without reference to the disclosing party's information; or is required to be disclosed by law or court order, in which case the disclosing party will give maximum practicable advance notice to the other party before making the disclosure.

Confidentiality obligations survive the termination of any engagement for a period of five years, or indefinitely in respect of trade secrets and AI system configurations.

Part F — Cybersecurity and Infrastructure

16. Cybersecurity Practices and Obligations

NextStepAI applies industry-appropriate cybersecurity practices in the design and delivery of operational systems. These include:

Secure by Design Security controls — including input validation, access permissions, data encryption, and audit trails — are designed into systems from inception, not added as afterthoughts.
Least Privilege Systems and integrations are configured to request and retain only the minimum permissions necessary to perform their defined function.
Encryption Standards Data in transit is encrypted using current TLS standards. Data at rest is encrypted using appropriate standards for the infrastructure and classification of the data involved.
Authentication Controls Where applicable, NextStepAI recommends and implements multi-factor authentication, role-based access control, and session management appropriate to the sensitivity of the system.
Monitoring and Alerting Production systems built by NextStepAI may include logging, monitoring, and alerting configurations appropriate to the risk profile of the system. The extent of monitoring is defined per engagement.
Incident Response In the event of a security incident affecting a system under active maintenance by NextStepAI, we will notify the client without undue delay and cooperate in investigation and remediation within the scope of the applicable support agreement.

Security Disclaimer: No system, regardless of how carefully designed, can guarantee immunity from all security threats. NextStepAI applies professional-grade controls but cannot warrant that delivered systems will never be successfully attacked, that third-party infrastructure will never be compromised, or that human operational errors will never occur. The client retains responsibility for maintaining credentials, enforcing access policies, conducting regular security reviews, and keeping third-party dependencies current after delivery. NextStepAI is not liable for security incidents arising from client negligence, credential mismanagement, or failure to apply recommended updates and patches.

17. User and Client Security Obligations

Where NextStepAI provides credentials, API keys, environment access, or other authentication material in connection with an engagement, the client is responsible for:

  • —Storing credentials and keys in a secure credential management system, not in plain text files, spreadsheets, or email
  • —Rotating or revoking credentials promptly upon personnel departures, suspected compromise, or at the conclusion of the engagement
  • —Restricting access to delivered systems to authorized personnel only, with appropriate role-based permissions
  • —Notifying NextStepAI immediately if any credentials or access tokens provisioned during the engagement are suspected to be compromised
  • —Maintaining regular, verified backups of all business-critical data processed by delivered systems
Part G — Governing Law and Final Provisions

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service, and any dispute arising from or related to them or to the use of this website, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and applicable European Union law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would result in the application of a different legal system.

NextStepAI operates internationally. For active client engagements, the governing law and jurisdiction are those agreed in the relevant commercial agreement and may differ where the parties have expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

NextStepAI and users agree that before initiating formal legal proceedings in connection with any dispute arising from use of this website, they will attempt to resolve the matter in good faith through direct communication. This does not limit either party's right to seek emergency injunctive relief where appropriate.

19. External Links

This website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or resources. These links are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. NextStepAI does not control external sites, does not endorse their content, and accepts no responsibility for their accuracy, availability, practices, or policies. Accessing external sites from links on this website is done at your own risk and is subject to those sites' own terms and privacy policies.

20. Suspension and Termination of Access

NextStepAI reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate any individual's or organization's access to this website or its features, including the AI assistant, without prior notice and without liability, where NextStepAI reasonably determines that:

  • —These terms or the Acceptable Use Policy have been violated
  • —Security controls are being probed, circumvented, or attacked
  • —The AI assistant is being used in a fraudulent, abusive, or harmful manner
  • —Access restriction is required to protect the integrity, availability, or security of the website or its users
  • —A legal or regulatory obligation requires NextStepAI to restrict access

21. Severability, Waiver, and Entire Agreement

Severability: If any provision of these terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible, without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.

No waiver: Failure by NextStepAI to enforce any provision of these terms on any occasion does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of any right to enforce it on a future occasion.

Entire agreement: These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable commercial agreement, constitute the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter covered herein and supersede all prior representations, discussions, and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to website use.

22. Modifications to These Terms

NextStepAI may update these Terms of Service at any time. When changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. For material changes, NextStepAI will take reasonable steps to communicate the update through a website notice or direct communication where available. Continued use of the website after the updated terms are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically to remain informed of the current terms.

23. Contact for Legal Inquiries

For questions, concerns, or notices related to these Terms, use the contact page and clearly label your message as a legal inquiry. Privacy requests, data-protection objections, and requests to stop further business outreach should instead be submitted through the privacy contact method described in the Privacy Policy or through the unsubscribe / objection mechanism provided in the relevant communication. NextStepAI will route requests appropriately and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. Formal legal notices should contain sufficient detail to identify the relevant interaction, communication, engagement, or dispute.

24. Intellectual Property — NextStepAI Brand, Logo and Visual Identity

The NextStepAI name, word mark, logo, symbol, visual identity, original graphic elements, brand presentation, and associated brand assets are proprietary intellectual property of NextStepAI and/or the applicable rights holder within the Steraton brand group, as applicable. This includes the original logo artwork, visual compositions, design elements, colour selections as used in the NextStepAI brand identity, graphical treatments, icons, illustrations, layouts, and related source or production materials to the extent protected by applicable law.

The original NextStepAI logo and core visual identity were independently created for NextStepAI by its founder/designer. Nothing on this website grants any person a licence, assignment, transfer, ownership interest, or other right in or to the NextStepAI brand, logo, visual identity, or other protected materials except where NextStepAI or the applicable rights holder expressly grants such permission in writing.

Except as permitted by applicable law or expressly authorised in writing, you may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, modify, adapt, trace, recreate, display, commercially exploit, register, incorporate into another brand or product, use as a trade mark or service mark, use as a business name, domain name, social-media identifier, advertising asset, or otherwise use the NextStepAI name, logo, visual identity, or confusingly similar variations without prior written permission from NextStepAI or the applicable rights holder.

You may not use the NextStepAI logo or brand assets in a manner that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, affiliation, certification, or approval by NextStepAI where no such relationship has been expressly authorised in writing.

All website content and materials made available through this website, including text, graphics, original imagery, layouts, interface elements, documentation, software, and other original materials, are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws to the extent applicable. Third-party materials remain subject to the rights of their respective owners and are not transferred to you by these Terms.

Unauthorised use, reproduction, modification, distribution, public display, commercial exploitation, or creation of confusingly similar brand assets may constitute infringement of applicable intellectual-property rights. NextStepAI reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law.

If you wish to request permission to use the NextStepAI name, logo, visual identity, or another protected NextStepAI asset, please contact NextStepAI through the official contact page and describe the intended use, context, territory, medium, duration, and whether the use is commercial or non-commercial.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights or lawful exceptions that apply under mandatory law.

25. Business Communications and Collaboration Outreach

NextStepAI may, where permitted by applicable law, initiate professional business communications with companies, organizations, and professional contacts for the limited purpose of introducing NextStepAI, identifying a potential operational need, and exploring a possible business collaboration.

Such communications may be individually selected and sent by NextStepAI personnel. They are not generated or sent by the optional on-site AI assistant. A communication is intended to open a conversation only and does not create a client relationship, contractual commitment, obligation to purchase, or obligation to accept any proposal.

The fact that a communication is personalized, manually selected, manually sent, non-binding, or framed as a potential collaboration does not by itself determine whether the communication is considered direct marketing, advertising, or another regulated form of electronic communication under applicable law. NextStepAI will comply with the legal requirements applicable to the relevant communication channel, recipient, jurisdiction, and circumstances.

Where applicable law gives a recipient a right to object to further direct marketing or other outreach, NextStepAI will provide an appropriate and reasonably accessible method for exercising that right and will respect valid objections in accordance with applicable law.

NextStepAI does not require a recipient to purchase services, enter into a contract, accept a proposal, or continue a communication merely because an outreach message was received.

NextStepAI AI
